🛠️ Installation Tips

Issue	Possible Cause	Solution
Erratic/High Idle	Poor connection at IAC plug.	Check the splices. If the Idle Air Control valve isn't getting a clean signal, the ECU cannot stabilize the idle.
Wrong Gear Displayed	Wiring cross-over or pin loose.	Ensure the wires were spliced to the correct matching positions. A loose pin in the pigtail can cause the cluster to show "N" instead of "R".
Check Engine Light (CEL)	Incomplete circuit/Bad ground.	Clear the codes after installation. If the light returns, use a multimeter to check for continuity between the splice and the plug.
Engine Stalls at Stops	IAC Valve signal interrupted.	Inspect the wiring harness for "tugging" or tension when the engine vibrates. Ensure there is enough slack in the pigtail.
Corrosion at Splice	Improper sealing of wires.	If the repair was not sealed with heat-shrink, moisture will travel up the wire. Re-do the splice with waterproof connectors.
